Dr. JJ Haines is Alaska grown! He grew up right next to the airport near Kincaid Park then moved across town and graduated from Bartlett High School in 2002. After earning his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management at Brigham Young University, he attended Loma Linda University in California to complete his four years of dental school and then two and half more years of orthodontic residency. He graduated near the top of his class and was inducted into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon Honor Society, an honor reserved for the top ten percent of Dental students. Dr. Haines has had the unique privilege of associating for several talented and successful orthodontists, in both large and small practices, with diverse treatment methods. This breadth of experience has given him a great deal of expertise and skill in orthodontics which translates into remarkable results for his patients. Dr. Haines enjoys a challenge and derives great satisfaction from transforming smiles and is excited to bring this depth of his experience to Valley Orthodontics.
